Notes:
- Space for IR between the bogies
- IR cable routing is fiddly through a small hole above the bogie – removing the axle beneath the hole makes threading the cables easier
- Buffer capacitor present but too small, so 4870 µF installed in the speaker mounting location (lift the PCB (4 screws) and remove the plastic speaker frame—insulating tape was placed under the PCB)
- Buffer capacitor can be soldered to the CTC locomotive module before installation
- Two delicate plastic support rods broke during conversion – reattached with plastic glue under a microscope
