The CTC Locomotive Module M3 is optimized for locomotives from gauge H0 and is available in the following variants:
- with standard PluX22 connector,
- with Märklin’s 21mtc interface,
- with 8-pin plug-in board according to NEM-652,
- with 6-pin header according to NEM-651,
- with cables for track, motor, lighting, and up to 6 AUX connections,
- for gauge G with PluX22 interface and cables for the NFC reader.
It is designed as the successor to the [CTC-Lokmodul-PluX22]/doc/light/en/data_sheet/CTC-Lokmodul-PluX22.html, [CTC-Lokmodul-21mtc]/doc/light/en/data_sheet/CTC-Lokmodul-21mtc.html, [CTC-Lokmodul-H0a]/doc/light/en/data_sheet/CTC-Lokmodul-H0a.html, and [CTC-Lokmodul-H0d]/doc/light/en/data_sheet/CTC-Lokmodul-H0d.html.
Variants with standardized connectors can be installed without soldering. For retrofitting older (including analog) locomotives, you can use our CTC-Adapter-PluX22 or one of the variants with cables.

Connection
Notes:
- When selecting the input voltage, always ensure that motors, lights, etc., connected to the CTC module can also handle this voltage!
- For PluX22, the AUX-7 connection is not assigned.
- For 21mtc and PluX22, the train bus can be used as a SUSI interface.
To connect:
- Plug the CTC module into the matching socket of the locomotive or solder the cables.
- Attach the optional CTC IR receiver or NFC reader to the 8-pin socket on the CTC module.
The assignment of light and AUX connections to switches in the app can be freely configured (cfg.xml).
IR Receiver
For the IR receiver, we supply a cable with a matching 8-pin plug.
Buffer Capacitor
The buffer capacitor is soldered to the + and - contacts of the rectifier:
Optionally, we supply the CTC-Lokmodul-M3 with the capacitor already soldered in place.
Pin Assignment
Details on pin assignments and dimensions can be found in the respective standards (see above).
The cable variant is soldered to the contacts for the PluX22 extension:
The cables are soldered to the corresponding pins for the PluX22 connector:
