The IR receivers are infrared receivers for a wavelength of 950 nm and a modulation frequency of 38 kHz. The image shows on the left the currently available Vishay TSOP98438 and on the right the Vishay TSOP39338 which is still under evaluation and about half as thick.
The pins are numbered from left to right in both photos and are assigned as follows:
- For the larger TSOP98438: 1-Out (data, purple), 2-GND (black), 3-Vs (3.3V, red)
- For the smaller TSOP39338: 1-GND (black), 2-Vs (3.3V, red), 3-Out (data, purple), 4-GND (black). It is sufficient to connect one of the two GNDs.
We always deliver cables with plugs matching the locomotive module.
