The CTC-Locomotive Module-H0d is no longer offered. As a replacement, we recommend the CTC-Locomotive Module-PluX22 with our CTC-Adapter for PluX22.

The CTC-Locomotive Module-H0d is optimized for installation in older locomotives that are either already digital or were also offered as a digital variant. Locomotives with many functions benefit from the 10 switching outputs and 2 servo connections of this locomotive module. With an additional motor driver module, a second motor can also be controlled.

Connection

Standard configuration

  • Connect track contacts A and B to the track or the power supply. Alternatively, track-A can also be connected via a screw (hole in the PCB). It doesn’t matter whether you provide the track with an analog transformer, a digital control center, or a power supply, provided the maximum voltage of 24 V is not exceeded. Since there is a rectifier at the input, it doesn’t matter which pole you connect with track-A and track-B.
  • Connect the buffer capacitor (electrolyte, min. 400 uF, recommended 1000 uF) to VBB (positive pole) and GND.
  • Connect the motor with Motor + and Motor - (for connection of the electromagnet of universal motors see separate instruction).
  • Connect the negative poles of the front lights with SW-1 and the rear ones with SW-2. Connect the positive pole each with any VBB connection.
  • Optionally connect further SW connections e.g. with the negative pole of the electric clutch, the smoke set, or additional lighting. Connect the positive pole each with any VBB connection.
  • Connect the CTC IR receiver to the programming plug (RX, VCC, GND)

The assignment of the pins to switches in the app can be freely configured (Cfg.xml).

Additional Connections

The I2C bus, servos, the second motor, and the reserved pins are not supported by the current firmware. Please contact us if necessary.
