# Model Railroad Control

## Overview
This document describes the control of a model railroad system using a **CTC-Router** and various modules.

## Components

### CTC-Router
- Central control unit for the model railroad.
- Connects to **WiFi** for remote access.
- Manages communication between **signal tower**, **CTC-Turnout-Modules**, and **CTC-Loco-Modules**.

### Signal Tower
- Controls the entire layout.
- Sends commands to **CTC-Turnout-Modules** and **CTC-Loco-Modules**.
- Provides status updates via the **CTC-Router**.

### CTC-Turnout-Module
- Controls **turnouts** on the layout.
- Communicates with the **signal tower** via the **CTC-Router**.
- Supports manual and automated operation.

### CTC-Loco-Module
- Controls locomotives on the layout.
- Communicates with the **signal tower** via the **CTC-Router**.
- Supports speed, direction, and function control.

## Wiring
- All modules connect to the **CTC-Router** via Ethernet or **WiFi**.
- Power is supplied separately to each module.
