Specifically designed for outdoor garden use, we have created an alternative to our CTC-IR-Beacon : Here, we utilize Near Field Communication (NFC) instead of optical infrared signals.
The capabilities regarding position detection and automation are identical to those of the IR receiver.
However, with NFC, it is not possible to influence the transmitted data. Only a globally unique number is transmitted, which is already stored by the manufacturer in the NFC beacon.

The holders are made of weatherproof plastic. The tag located under the yellow cover is IP68 rated. It can withstand even a downpour where it is temporarily submerged.

These are inserted into the ground so that their head protrudes approximately 5 mm above the sleepers.
